Done!

Last week we finally got done with our house. If you have not seen it my mom will send you some pictures. All you have to do is ask her in the comment boards.

Last month I got to paint with Wyland. If you don't know who he is, he is the painter that paints the whales on the side of buildings. He is a famous artist. I got to paint some coral. I found out he is going to be on our cruise next August.

Last week while we were camping we saw long horn steer, deer, a horny toad, long horn sheep and 2 tarantulas. we also went to an apple orchard and picked apples. There was an old one room school house, but it was closed.

Last Friday was also National Parks Day. My day helped the kids from 5th grade in Caliente pkant trees in our camp site. It was really cool!

Also thanks to Austin, Kevin, Jimmy and Tall, Dark and Creepy for helping me have a great time.

Hi Steven,

Have a few minutes to write to you. It is great that you were able to plant the trees. We need more tree plantings. The spider is big. Don't like spiders at all.

Keep up with your studies and hope to see you soon.

Hi, Steven ... sorry it's taken me so long to post a comment to your last blog entry, but I had shoulder surgery in early Oct. and was not able to type very much until the last week or so. I was definitely suffering from separation anxiety by not being able to use the computer! :-)

It sounds like you've been keeping very busy and that lots of exciting things have been happening. It's way cool that you got to meet Wyland too! I've always admired his work (we have 2 of his "walls" here in S.F.).

I agree w/your Aunt Patty ... that tarantula is waaaaay scarey looking and I don't like spiders either. I seem to recall a vacation that our family took back when your dad and I were young and being someplace where there were a lot of tarantulas crawling across the road as we were driving. It might have been when we visited the Sequoia National Park. You should ask your dad if he remembers that.

Anyway ... it's been a while since your last blog so I hope you're continuing to enjoy your studies and are having fun. Looking forward to your next entry!

Love ... Aunt Robin
